On the day of your appointment

Please review our cancellation policy for information on cancelling your appointment.


If you do not show for your appointment, we will notify your GP and you may require another referral letter.

Please allow plenty of time to locate and arrive on time for your appointment.  To locate us visit 'how to find us'.

 

We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals. If on the day you cannot find us, please call the clinic at Lakeland Orthotics on 01482 586088. We also have a ramp available to assist with entrance into the property should this be required. Please contact us in advance if you require a ramp.

Please enter the clinic via the large blue door with the Lakeland Orthotic Sign above.  Knock on the office door immediately on your left and wait for assistance at the entrance area. You will then be shown to the waiting area outside the clinic.

Please note that we are a manufacturing company which offers a clinic within our manufacturing facility and currently we do not have disabled toilet facilities. Our ‘no-frills’ clinic allows us to continue to provide value for money services and products without compromise on quality and customer satisfaction.

Once you have been assessed by the orthotist, he or she may feel you require an additional assessment or product fitting appointment.  If so, they will provide you with an appointment slip.  Please take this to the reception where you will be offered a follow up appointment if this is required.

Please note: we have a zero tolerance policy towards rudeness or violence.  You will be asked to leave and/or appointment(s) cancelled if rudeness or inappropriate behaviour is shown towards the orthotist or staff.
